Rich McCue
Rich is a life long learner and manages the University of Victoria Libraries Digital Scholarship Commons, which helps the UVic community explore and express their ideas in ways other than text. The Digital Scholarship Commons does this by making available digital tools like 3D printers, electronics kits, Virtual Reality equipment, and data visualization software, and teaching people how to use the tools. Rich’s research interests include active learning pedagogies, flipped learning, makerspaces, and open learning. Rich was born and raised in Victoria and is a father of five wonderful children, and in his spare time, he reads, coaches soccer, sails & goes mountain biking with his kids and friends.
